Living on Purpose

Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

My life is even better that I could have ever imagined. I’m learning to love myself the way the Lord loves me. However, it is still a daily challenge and I have to constantly remind myself not to compare myself to others I see on social media. Many times, we discover that it may not be what it seems. It’s not about material possessions, fame, influence, or fortune, it’s about being comfortable in your own skin.

I’m by no means boasting… it’s not that my life is perfect or that I don’t have daily frustrations and discouragements, but I am in a place in my life that I am grateful for every moment. As I posted a few months ago, I’m learning not to Sweat the Small Stuff! I’m taking it one day at a time, one step at a time…

The steps of a good man [woman] are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Psalms 37:23

  1. I’m right there with you! Your words summed it up perfectly. The inner peace is phenomenal. What’s really cool about this time in my life is TIME, my ability to appreciate being in the moment, enjoying whatever is happening while it’s happening is truly a blessing, privilege and gift from God in my opinion
